When signs and slogans go on public display, they really need to be proofread very, very carefully.  But since the English language has greatly deteriorated in the United States, this step is no longer considered necessary by some, which you can see in these epic sign fails.  While some are the result of carelessness, others are directly from poor translations or the creativity of brilliant individuals.
